Raising money in the Lincoln Santa Run 2012

On a bright December day a group of LCVC payers and family gathered in the bail gate with thousands of other Santa’s to take part in the annual Siemens Santa Run.

Armed with a large volleyball we commenced the run with intention of attempting to play volleyball for the duration of the race. With some participation by some other members of the race we successfully completed the course and a enjoyable morning was had by all.

The organisers kindly allowed us to raise funds for the club and all participants were sponsored and we managed to raise an impressive £650 for the club. As the day was so enjoyable we hope to enter again this year in order to continue to raise funds for the club.
